How it works
Three steps. The same process whether you're checking one pen or a whole sale-day book.
- 1
Tell us about your livestock
Pick a yard. Pick the type — sheep or cattle, breed, weight, head count. Takes about 30 seconds on a phone.
- 2
See the price
A current market value per head and across the whole mob, drawn from what comparable stock have recently sold for at your yard — shown with the observed sales range so you can see how firm it is.
- 3
Decide
See how your mob stacks up against recent sales — at your yard and the ones nearby — so the call to sell, hold or move is yours, made on real numbers.
Where the data comes from
Official saleyard reports are published after every sale. We bring them together so you can see what comparable stock have actually made — by saleyard, category, weight and fat score. Every figure is a current market value shown with the observed sales range behind it; where recent sales are thin, we widen the range rather than show false precision. We tell you what the market has done — never a guess at what it'll do.
