How Fairyard finds your price
Every price is read off what comparable stock actually sold for at the saleyard. Here's what you do, and where the number comes from.
Three steps, no typing

Open Fairyard — a price is already showing
The home page opens on a real price: lamb, 47 kg live, at Wagga. No sign-up, nothing to type.

Change it to match your stock
Tap Change beside the yard or the stock. Use − and + or slide to the weight. The price updates as you go.
- 3
Read the price and its range
You see the current fair value a head, what sales have ranged, and the move on last week. The call is yours.

Where the numbers come from
Official saleyard reports
After every sale, results are published by MLA's National Livestock Reporting Service. We bring them together by saleyard, stock type, weight and fat score. Nothing is added.
When your yard is quiet
If your yard has no recent sales for that stock, the card says so at the top — “No recent Wagga sales” — and shows a wider regional figure, labelled as regional. Where sales are thin, the range widens.
