What Fairyard provides
Fairyard shows current market values for Australian livestock, drawn from recent saleyard sale results. The figures are descriptive: they tell you what comparable stock have recently sold for, shown with the observed sales range. They are not a forecast of future prices, and they are general information to help you decide — not financial, trading or other professional advice.
Use of the service
You may use Fairyard for your own commercial purposes, including selling decisions, advisory work and saleyard operations. You may not redistribute our data wholesale, access our API outside the published rate limits, or use the service to build a competing product.
Cost
Fairyard is free to use. We may introduce optional paid features in future; if we do, we'll update these terms and give you notice before any account of yours is charged.
Your consumer rights and our liability
The market values Fairyard shows are descriptive estimates based on past sales and shown with their observed range. Real saleyard prices vary for reasons no dataset captures, and we don't guarantee what your stock will actually sell for. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, and to the extent permitted by law, Fairyard is not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
